Hi, I'm Pam

This Week’s Lesson

In this lesson, we’re looking at looking at 4 different holiday themed hero images and how to recreate these kinds of product photos at home.

Main Takeaways

  • Simple minimalistic hero images can do double duty: before adding simple props to jazz up your holiday scene such as greenery or LED lights, take a photo of your product with no added elements to create an e-commerce listing photo.
  • Added props such as greenery and LED lights are subtle touches that can subconsciously evoke the feelings of the holiday season — adding in additional props such as holiday decor (bottle brush trees, ornaments, etc) can also take your images to another level
  • Don’t be afraid to browse websites like pinterest for ideas! Make sure to take inspiration from other industries around you to bring in a fresh perspective and new ideas that will help you stand out from the crowd
